Sir Stelios and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation are delighted to congratulate MSSC CEO Martin Coles on his recent award of a CBE for services to Young People and Maritime Education.
We are delighted that he has been recognised for his dedication, commitment and leadership of MSSC with its vision to be the leading maritime charity for youth development and lifelong learning.
Martin says ‘The national award is a huge honour and I am so lucky to work and volunteer for this incredible charity. I may wave the baton every now and then, but the impact delivered for so many young people is the result of the an amazing orchestra of volunteers and employees.’
The Foundation and MSSC are both looking forward to the third year of their joint outreach programme On The Water which will take place in Summer 2022.
