To celebrate the 35th Aniversary of the Costas Grammenos Centre for Shipping and Finance, a conference was held at CASS on the 6th of November.
Professor Costas Grammenos , Professor Paul Curran President City, University of London, Professor Paolo Volpin the interim Dean and Sir Efthimios Mitropoulos IMO, Chairman Maria Tsakos Foundation.
The subject being ”The world is changing” , many great speakers had the chance elaborate on the matter of how business will be conducted in the years to come .
Sir Stelios attended the conference since he was invited to be one of the speakers for the night.
His speech was focused on the work done through his charitable foundation and why the modern world needs more people to actively engage not only in creating wealth but also in Giving some back to society.
